Blue Eye

Blues are open skies, oceans and cool breeze, on the other hand greens are open fields, freshness and hope. when I sew these two colors laying together on my working desk I visioned the design of the necklace. Adding the pearls was no question for me, because I just love pearls and think they always give a special feminine elegance and luxury with their soft shin.

The fresh and crispy color combination of the glowing Capri blue, Emerald green crystal faceted beads, and white pearls, hand-linked with silver, make this necklace bright and lucid

The gorgeous drop of Pacific blue faceted crystal coiled with 999 silver, encircled with white pearls
create the focal point of this long necklace.
Gorgeous !

Cameo

Shell cameo are hand carved shells . Cameo jewelry where very popular
in the late 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century.

This particular cameo-broach  belonged to my grandmother, later to my mom
and I got it from her years ago.
As it was badly damaged the delicate cameo lady stayed in my
jewelry box untouched.

After I successfully  revived my "Madam de Pompadur" I thought to try to do
the same with the cameo.

I used white and different shades of gold pearls to complement the cameo colors,
I added honey colored crystals for sparkle and some carnelians and jasper
for more structure.
Working in a special technique gives the necklace airy illusion,
almost like "flying" and "floating".

My effort of hiding the damage was achieved successfully.
The beautiful delicate cameo came to life in its third  generation.

I love it! and be happy and proud to wear this antique cameo necklace.

What I say is, that if you have a vintage or antique jewelry
you don't use for any reason I can upgrade it and give it new life.

The Beauty of Limoges

Madame de Pompadur

This beautiful hand painted miniature broch, I got when I
was a little girl from my french uncle who was
an antique and art colector. All these years I kept
it in my treasury jewelry box, and had pined it
occasionally on my jackets.

Lately I thought to give my "madam de pompadour" a better
come back and the result is here in front of you.

I used pearls to lift up the background, rose quartz in different
shaded and shapes to match her dress and some highlights of
sky ocean perido and rubellite, and a few hand curved coral roses.

Now I think my pink lady is where she belongs - among all
the colors that flatter her, and I will have more opportunities
to wear this gorgeous jewel around my neck.

I love it!

So, if you have an antique or vintage jewel in your jewelry box
that you treasure but never wear for so many reasons I can make for you
a gorgeous necklace or a beautiful bracelet, to wear and cherish for many
years to come.
